How To Reach Statue Of Unity?
From Vadodara, it is about 90 km away, and from Ahmedabad, it is 200 km away. From both places, it is easily connected via road. The nearest railway station is Vadodara. From Vadodara, you can pick the bus or taxi to reach the Kevadia colony. From here you can see the ticket window of Bharat Bhavan.

- Express Ticket:
The express tickets cost you Rs 1000. It is a VIP ticket, and hence you do not have to wait in a long queue. If you do not have more time and little more money, then go for this category. This ticket includes Valley of Flowers, Viewing gallery, Statue of Unity, Exhibition, SardarSarovar Dam, Audio Visual Gallery, and Sunset View.
- Viewing Gallery Ticket:
200 RS for kids for age between 3 to 15 years and 350 RS for adult. It includes Valley of Flowers, Viewing gallery, Statue of unity, Exhibition, Audio Visual Gallery and SardarSarovar Dam.
- Entry Ticket:
It is the basic ticket, and it includes everything except viewing gallery so it worth buying.
Bus Ticket (Hop On Hop Off):
Can you imagine traveling on a bus of Mercedes and Volvo in RS 30? Yes, this service costs only 30 rs, and it is mandatory. You don’t have to wait for a long time as they have ample buses. They do not push more people than capacity. The guide inside the bus will tell you everything about the place in three different languages that is Hindi, Gujarati, and English.
Main Attractions
- Shrestha Bharat Bhawan:
This place is the starting point of your journey. Park the vehicle and get the tickets starting from the entry fee to boating and helicopter from this place.
- Statue:
Now this place includes a statue, cafeteria, exhibition, and souvenir shop. This statue is built on approximate cost of 3000 crores and 70000-ton cement, 1700 ton bronze, 18500-ton reinforcement steel, and 6000-ton structural cement.
There is an exhibition gallery inside. It shows all the information related to the life of SardarVallabhbhai Patel as an audio and video file.
- Food Court:
In the food court, you will find an outlet of Coffee cafe day, a subway, Vadilal shop, Honest. You will also find native food stores there for delicious Gujarati food items and snacks.
- Valley of Flowers:
On both sides of the road, you can find flowers on both sides, and yes selfie point is there to click perfect picture.
- SardarSarovar Dam:
How one can miss the second largest dam in the world? But for obvious no. It is one of the major tourist attraction. Even you can do boating there.
